From vacations to backyard barbecues, you’ve probably got a lot going on this summer. We do, too! Read on for the food events on our calendar …
First up, Father’s Day is this Sunday! For those of you that don’t know, ‘LloydMartin’ is derived from Chef Sam Crannell’s two grandfathers, Lloyd and Martin. In their honor and for Father’s Day, LloydMartin the restaurant will celebrate with a Salmon Dinner this Saturday, June 20th (last Saturday, we did a Prime Rib dinner). Call 206-420-7602 to reserve your table for Father’s Day dinner with Dad.
Summertime is full of delicious fresh local produce, and we wanted to highlight this wonderful bounty each week with some fun events. Here’s what’s going on weekly at LloydMartin:
- Chef’s Tasting Tuesdays: Enjoy creative flavor combinations and colorful presentations! Each Tuesday, Chef Sam is making a special three-course Chef’s Tasting Menu for you to enjoy. ($39)
- Wagyu Burger Wednesdays: Nothing beats a burger sometimes, and we make the best burger you’ll ever have – really. A wagyu beef patty, smothered in cheddar fondue and served with house made chips… We only make 10 on Wednesdays only, so get here before they’re gone! ($18)
- Market Dish Thursdays: Now that the Queen Anne Farmer’s Market is back, Chef Sam will whip up a weekly Market Dish with the fresh ingredients he finds. (Market Price)
In our annual fashion, we’re closing the restaurant for a couple of weeks over the Fourth of July, while Chef Sam Crannell heads to Chicago for the annual Ribfest. LloydMartin will be closed from Sunday, June 28th through Tuesday, July 7th, and reopening for dinner on Wednesday, July 8th.
Last, but not least, come by the restaurant on Saturday, July 11th to join us for our own celebration of Queen Anne Days. From 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., we will be serving savory pulled pork sandwiches with Lloyd’s signature BBQ sauce! Everyone loves Chef Sam’s pulled pork, so it only makes sense to celebrate our neighborhood with such a favorite!
