For the Christmas holiday, we will be closed Christmas Eve through Saturday, December 26th, and re-opening on Tuesday, December 29th. The restaurant will also be closed from New Year’s Day through January 7th, and re-opening on Friday, January 8th.
LloydMartin is making some New Year’s resolutions… Come 2016, look for some big changes, as we plan a transformation early next year!
We’re booking the last handful of tables for our annual New Year’s Eve dinner. Only a few seats are left for reservations between 5 – 6 p.m. This is perfect for guests who have tickets to see the lively Amy Schumer at the Key Arena that evening. The dinner is $120 per person, and includes 6-10 small courses (in the style of our anniversary dinner), as well as a complimentary glass of Champagne. We will also offer a wine pairing addition, as well as a premium wine pairing addition for guests who want to try some of the more exclusive wines on our list. In the spirit of the season, Shane has some great things happening behind the bar. The LloydMartin Red Sangria is a delicious blend of red wine, brandy, lemon, orange and ginger beer. It can be served cold over ice, or warmed up as a toasty mulled wine. And hot toddies are made to order!
The newer wines that have been added to our list are delicious. On our reserve list, the 2011 Tenuta Tignanello ‘Marchese Antinori’ is a wonderful Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Tuscany. We also have a wonderful 2012 Chateau Picque Caillou red wine from France, and a 2012 Shatter Grenache that is a project from Joel Gott and Dave Phinney. The 2013 ‘October Night’ Chardonnay from J.Lohr is an excellent white wine to enjoy these chilly winter evenings.
