We’re back from some time off, and there’s a lot to look forward to in the coming months at LloydMartin!
First of all, our Market Dinners started again this Thursday (July 10th). We kicked off the Market Dinner season with a $30/person vegetarian meal highlighting some delicious produce fresh from the Queen Anne Farmers Market. Market Dinners will be offered every Thursday through the summer, with a prix-fixe special each week that is determined based off of what Chef Sam can gather and put together for some creative courses.
We’re really excited to join Thierry Rautureau on Sunday, July 20th for The Bite Cooks! at Bite of Seattle. From 3 – 4 p.m., we’ll be doing the live cooking entertainment showcase and demonstration.
More details are coming out of the woodwork about our upcoming guest dinners…
The Bella Luna Farms Guest Dinner on Sunday, August 17th will cost $200 per person, which is all-inclusive (food, paired alcohol, tip, & tax). There are a limited number of seats, so call the restaurant to hold your space: 206-420-7602.
For our next guest dinner, at the VUDE with Hand of God wines, you can look forward to a theme of “Past, Present and Future”. Chef Sam will be offering a food journey experience for guests, from his earliest days as a chef to what he’s been doing lately, and on to where he thinks he’s going with food in the future.
On September 9th, Chef Sam is participating in the “Cooking with Class” benefit, where he will demonstrate how to make his bacon waffle dish – a classic at LloydMartin. The Cooking with Class benefit is where participants work with some of the top Northwest chefs (including Sam Crannell) for some hands-on training to learn how to cook some delicious dishes with wine pairings. Proceeds benefit Providence Senior and Community Services, Providence ElderPlace-Seattle and Providence Heritage House at the Market. Cost is $150 per person. Click here to register.
Later in September, Sam will be doing a NW Peaks fall pop-up restaurant that will be beer-centric and feature gussied up pub food. Along those lines, Chef Sam will also do an awesome ‘Lamb Battle’ cook off. Stay tuned for details on both of those events.
